Could you run your study using aggregate data or do you need to use data singling out individuals?

Yes, I can use aggregate data

No, I need individual data

Not sure, what do you mean by “aggregate” and “individual” data?

Aggregate data is obtained by combining (“averaging-out”) data from individual people, for example by age group or geographical region. Aggregate data are displayed as totals, so no data allowing singling out of an individual is shown.

When data is ‘individual’, each data entry (each “row in the database”) maps to one individual who can be singled out.
